Not much happening in Homeschool Room

Instead of cleaning out and organizing the Homeschool Room we've been enjoying the wonderful summer weather, celebrated Baby M's Baptism, and made a yummy blueberry pie for the Feast of the Assumption. I sort of feel sorry for all the public school kids who have to go back to school at the beginning of August. It just seems wrong! My birthday is August 19th, and my whole life I had a summer birthday. Now I would be in school on my birthday instead. My kids are lucky, they are still doing swim lessons and then maybe one more trip to the beach before we start school in earnest.
