Columbus Day 2011 & a Movie Review

We had a busy day today of homeschool enrichment class, homeschool playgroup, dental appointments, and dinner. The article about our house making it onto the National Register made the local paper today, and Bill and I got to go out to the movies for our 9th anniversary.

We didn't have time for a proper dinner, so we had hotdogs on a stick for dinner. The movie was "Courageous" and I really wish more men would go see this movie on courage and fatherhood. The acting was not the best, and the protestant evangelization was a bit heavy-handed, but overall, it was a very good film with a very strong pro-family message.
