Because I hate camping, and I can't think of anything worse than camping with a newborn, my dear husband came up with the perfect compromise - camping in Abuela's backyard. This highly coveted campsite had a pool, bar b que, bathroom facilities with hot showers, and a guestroom bed for Mama and baby to sleep in.
Everyone was happy. Even Sweetpea who snuck back into the house around 3 am because it was too cold outside.
My two big boys are definitely future boy scout material - they overcame their fear of rattlesnakes and slept outside all night long!
