First Menu Plan Failure

This was the first day since the implementation of the new Home Ec Wednesdays Menu plan that I did not get my act together and we ended up having to eat store bought food. I was so rushed in the morning before homeschool enrichment class that I did not even have time to turn on the crock pot and put rice in the rice cooker! On our way home, finally, at 5 pm, I stopped at the store and succumbed to buying canned beans. Luckily, I had leftover quinoa and broccoli already cooked in the fridge and was able to put something together quickly.
